Some visitors find Saturday evenings quite packed, with peak times reaching 100% capacity, which can lead to longer wait times for drinks and seats. This bustling environment might not appeal to those looking for a quieter outing. Additionally, while the offerings are broad, the menu does not provide extensive food options, meaning guests may have to look elsewhere if they want a full meal alongside their drinks.
Although the ambiance is welcoming, some patrons have mentioned that, during busy hours, the noise levels can rise, impacting the overall experience for those looking for intimate conversations.
Fantastic taproom, every time I am in Whitstable I swing by to try their latest beers on tap. This time I tried the new lager with lime and salt, it did not disappoint. I also tried the Oyster Stout which was fantastic. The taproom itself has lots of interesting decor and I imagine it would be nice and cosy in the winter out of the elements with the log burner going. 100% worth a visit.
Awesome find!! Love this place and despite only being in Whitstable a couple nights came here both evenings - great selection of beers and really helpful service - even got myself a tankard!

Excellent beer selection from this local brewery and a couple of guest brews. The Crabzilla IPA is a delicious stalwart but it’s worth trying some others – the Oyster Stout, Crab & Anchor DDH IPA, ‘Lil Sprat’s Session Pale and the Red Lager are all impressive. Friendly staff and a wood fire makes for a cozy atmosphere.
The sea farmers dive is an absolute treasure! Staff are very friendly and the ambiance is brilliant. A treasure in the heart of the sea front with a wide variety of local lagers and ales and of course oysters! A great place to add to your ‘go to’ list when visiting the area. The lager glasses were so nice we bought a few from their merchandise range! Will be back soon!
Small, intimate, warm and cosy with great beer and merchandise for a rainy afternoon! I had three of the ales and all were absolutely excellent, although I do prefer my ales to be served at room temperature but maybe that's just a personal preference. I was able to buy a selection of the ales in cans to take home too. Definitely worth popping in for a drink.
On a very soggy afternoon the Taproom was the perfect place to be. It's cosy inside with a good mix of seating. The other half enjoyed the brews, whilst I was delighted to find a tap room serving a voigner!
